HUMANITAS MAXIMUS ARTICLES

You should read the fine print which follows first...

*Note to my Readers About Viewing Posts: This blog is formatted in such a manner as to cut off certain of the larger graphics that appear in the postings -- especially when those postings have been excerpted from wider-screen or higher-resolution media. Please be patient with me while I work within Google's somewhat stifling Blogger framework. If some graphics are cut off, you might just left-click on them to see if you can get an original source screen with the full graphic shown -- regrettably, this only works some of the time. In the event that any of the wording is cut off, you might change your screen magnification down from 100% to 75%. But don't worry -- the copy very seldom gets cut off. In some cases, if the article has been re-posted from another source (and you sadly can almost never tell you might try clicking on the article title, to get redirected to the original source posting, which will generally be full-sized and easy to read. No matter what...Please don't run out to the local drugstore in the rain and buy some of those overpriced non-prescription "reading glasses" that will make you look like either 1) a Senator in a subcommittee proceeding, or like 2) a substitute teacher from the early 1060's.

And now, intrepid explorers...TO INFINITY! AND BEYOND!

Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Poorer Dad - Robert Kiyosaki and the coming MARKET CRASH.

Rich Dad, Poor Dad, Poorer Dad - Robert Kiyosaki and the coming MARKET CRASH.

Dear Friends:

Hope is a great elixir -- it is every bit as powerful as faith, but requires less "waiting around" and permits you to be a bit more proactive in determining your fate. Purveyors of hope in any arena of the Human sport, tend to make people feel better -- at least for a period of time. Some of the more successful purveyors of hope make a darn good living at it, as well. They tend to thrive in the worst of times.

Do they thrive because they are brilliant, visionary investors? Generally not. They profit because they can provide the general populace with one of the last remaining legal euphoriants...HOPE! They sell hope at a profit.

When it comes to Hope, as a precious commodity in short supply, what separates those who are cold-hearted opportunists taking advantage of Human frailty from those who are truly leaders is whether or not they actually have a destination in mind for their adherents and believers -- a vision beyond book sales and carnival tents.

Hope must be given responsibly, and with good intent. If you traffic in Hope, please be kind enough to take your followers to a better destination instead of merely taking them for a very overpriced cab ride right back to nowhere.

My editorialized version of the Kiyosaki (of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" fame) ad follows for your viewing pleasure. If the picture is either cut off or unclear, you may try 1) increasing the screen magnification (on your computer), or 2) clicking on the picture to see if doing so (this is always experimental) will lead you to a different screeen with a higher-resolution, larger version of the same.

Thank you.

Faithfully,

Douglas Castle
