Fool If You Think It's Over: Re-Post. [Please Listen]

Fool If You Think It's Over

The song, "Fool If You Think It's Over," was performed in the 1970's by Chris Rea. I was young, and had aspirations of becoming a professional musician.  I cannot forget this song, and the feeling of being obsessively infatuated (I thought at the time that I was in love) with a young woman who was in love with another young man. I now understand the terms bittersweet and exquisite pain. Listen for the line, "Newborn eyes always cry with pain/ first look at the morning sun."

I miss being who I was then. I dream about him sometimes.
